And She Lost Him…..!!!!!!

I have been inspired by one of my favorite author’s write up and my best friend’s life which made me to write the below extract.

There was this one Boy. He was muscular with perfectly sculpted body, handsome looks and with a kind heart. One day, a girl saw him and fell in love with him.
She invited him to her place, and their friendship bloomed and blossomed in perfect harmony. She admired and venerated and celebrated him But then she thought: He might like some other girl and she was afraid, afraid that she would never feel the same way about any other boy .And she thought: “I’m going to set a trap. The next time the boy comes, he will never leave again.”

The boy, who was also in love, returned the following day, fell into the trap and got defamed by entire group of his friends and relatives. From that day no one liked talking or spending time with him. He was hated by the entire group of his peeers. She looked at him every day. There he was, the object of her passion, and she showed him to her friends, who said: secretly “Now you have everything you could possibly want.”

However, a strange transformation began to take place: now that she had him and no longer needed to woo him, she began to lose interest. He was unable to mingle with any of his close friends nor relatives. He was also unable to express the true meaning of his life, And thus slowly he began to waste away himself; he grew ugly; and the girl no longer paid him any attention, except by feeding him and being with him. One day, he died. The girl felt terribly sad and spent all her time thinking about him. But she did not remember that he died long back within. Its just his physical body that has died now. she thought only of the day when she had seen him for the first time, walking strongly and proudly and of course contentedly amongst the his peers, friends and relatives.

If she had looked more deeply into herself, she would have realized that what had thrilled her about him was his freedom, his natural behavior, his energy levels, how others used to admire him, and not his physical body. Without him, her life too lost all meaning, and Death came knocking at her door.

“Why have you come?” she asked Death.

“So that you can be once more with him across the sky,” Death replied.

“If you had allowed him to come and go, giving the required space, you would have loved and admired him ever more; alas, you now need me in order to find him again.”

PS: This is tribute to one of my bestest friend and his darling adorable girl who are no more now.
